Position: :Shuttle Bus Driver
Location: Richmond, CA
Hours: : Part Time - Split Shift (25 hours/week)
Compensation :: $20/hr. plus great BENEFITS!
Monday: 7:15am – 9:30am and : 2:30pm – 4:30pm
Tuesday: 7:15am – 12:15pm and : 2:30pm – 4:30pm
Wednesday: 7:15am – 9:30am and : 2:30pm – 4:30pm
Thursday: 7:15am – 12:15pm and: 2:30pm – 4:30pm
Friday: 7:15am – 9:30am and: 2:30pm – 4:30pm
(AM only and PM only versions of this position also available!)
Our vacation accrual rates are generous!
1st and 2nd year of employment = 2 weeks vacation a year;
3rd and 4th year of employment = 3 weeks vacation a year;
5th to 9th year of employment = 4 weeks vacation a year;
the 10th year onward = 5 weeks vacation a year.
Part-time and split shift, Shuttle: Bus Driver : needed to work an afternoon shift in Richmond:. Transport adults with developmental disabilities from their homes to day program at CAP-Hilltop facility in the morning and return to program participants' homes in the afternoon.

Do you have experience with driving medical transport, ambulance or emergency vehicles, airport shuttles, limousines, transporting clients for appointments or outings?

Qualifications: :
- Ability to read maps, be punctual, reliable and to work various hours during the day.
- Experience with vehicle maintenance.
- Ability to complete transportation documentation accurately.
- Good communication skills; ability to interact in a positive and supportive manner with riders.
- Experience with securing wheelchairs with tie downs.
- Ability to maintain supervision of riders to ensure safety while in transit.
- Department of Justice clearance required
- California Driver's license and clean driving record
- One year of continuous, verifiable experience driving for work.
- - COVID-19 Vaccination including booster - subject to religious or medical exemption requests
- Indoor masking is required at all program sites when in contact with any staff and/or participants
