Accessible Space Inc. (ASI) is a national nonprofit organization providing housing and personal care services to individuals with physical disabilities, seniors and veterans. Accessible Space, Inc. (ASI) is hiring Direct Support Professionals for our Habilitation Day program in Las Vegas.DSP staff provide functional skills and life-skills training to adults with disabilities in an adult day program. Some duties include - provide individual and/or group skills training sessions and activities to develop or enhance clients’ level of independent function and quality of life. Create and maintain written records and forms. Communicate client information to ASI staff, physicians, social workers, community workers and family members, as authorized and appropriate.
Transport and/or accompany clients to community activities and programs, as scheduled. We offer Paid Training - and benefits for part-time staff! Day hours! Qualifications: Regulations require a High school diploma or GED.
Minimum age 18. Valid drivers’ license and proof of insurance, and a safe driving record. The ability to communicate effectively in English. The ability to perform in a professional manner.
