Qualifications:

• Ability to work safely, have a positive attitude, and high attention to detail
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
• Will be trained & certified on forklift operation

Principal Tasks:

• Perform morning yard check for Shipping and Receiving Clerk.
• Spot loaded containers in doors for unloading as requested or assigned. Always chock wheels all spotted trailers or containers dropped in doors without dock locks.
• Must break all seals on containers and properly dispose of them as well as open and secure container doors prior to spotting in designated warehouse doors.
• Pull empty containers from designated doors and drop them in designated yard spot locations. Always confirm with warehouse lead via radio or phone prior to pulling any containers or trailers from warehouse doors for safety reasons.
• Spot empty trailers into doors as requested or assigned. Always chock wheels of spotted trailers or containers dropped in doors without dock locks.
• Pull preloaded trailers from dock doors, close trailer doors and park in designated yard spot locations. Always confirm with warehouse lead via radio or phone prior to pulling any containers or trailers from warehouse doors for safety reasons.
• Perform daily vehicle inspection of yard spotter at beginning and end of every shift. Turn in signed inspection sheets to DC Manager daily.
• Keep warehouse lot clear of debris and always report any damage to equipment either noticed or witnessed to DC Manager
• Always assist in warehouse when asked or needed.
• Responsible for any other additional duties as assigned by Management.
