We’re looking for a CG Render Artist to provide animation support on a current streaming episodic production.
Who are you?
- You’ve got significant experience managing and inspecting the rendering process within a full-cycle production, monitoring a render farm, and reviewing renders for consistency
- You’re an advanced or expert Redshift user
- You’re confident in your creativity and ability. You’re an effective and open communicator who’s open to feedback, and able to quickly implement it
- You’re a quick learner-and able to adapt to new tools specific to the production
- You’re a team player, ready to collaborate during regular production meetings and able to mentor talent when required
- You’re a CR resident (Pura Vida!)

- You'll manage and inspect the rendering process within the production through monitoring the rendering farm and communicating with the project team
- You'll review the resulting renders and keep track of their consistency and any potential fixes needed (and will be a key player in troubleshooting render issues)
- You’ll work with producers and the Technical Director to prepare and optimize assets and scenes for render in Redshift, according to project specifications and needs
- You’ll check lighting on characters and sets to ensure renders achieve the look, quality and technical standards set for the project
- You’ll participate in scheduled team meetings, offering feedback and suggestions
