Job description
Summit School is a 14-7.02 private special education center approved by the State of Illinois to serve students in the areas of Specific Learning Disabilities, Other Health Impairments, Emotional Disability, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. We provide services to students from kindergarten through high school graduation.
The physical education teacher will:
*Plan and implement a physical education curriculum that conforms to ISBE requirements.
*Provide individualized and small group instruction and periodic assessments as specified by the student’s Individualized Education Program (IEP).
*Provide an appropriate physical and social/emotional environment to establish and reinforce appropriate student behavior, social skills, and self-worth.
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
