This is a great opportunity for you to advance your career in retail automotive dealership parts. This an entry level position which can lead to a counter person position in the future. You will receive extensive training from the parts manager and staff. You will earn $20/hour and your schedule can be flexible.
Responsibilities
- You will be trained in automotive parts computer data entry.
- You will be trained to unload parts deliveries and to put parts into stock.
- You will be trained to organize incoming and outgoing parts shipments.
- You will be trained to conduct weekly parts bin checks to ensure accuracy of inventory.
- You will help the parts staff to maintain a clean work environment.
- You will be trained how to scan parts into stock.
Qualifications
- You have strong computer skills, a high level of confidence for learning new computer systems and processes.
- You are energetic and eager to learn new ideas, new processes, and new skills.
- You have some retail experience, e.g. supermarket, department store, etc.
- You have good verbal and written communication skills.
- You love cars and have some basic understanding of retail automotive parts.
- You have a valid NYS driver's license and a clean driving record.
