The outreach worker for the Covid Team provides direct services to Native Hawaiians and Hawaii Island residents addressing Covid 19 and other health care needs. The outreach
worker will invariably reach out to clients who may have limited access to health care and shall provide access to services provided by Hui Malama Ola Na `Oiwi and other community agencies. The position entails intake, screening, and follow-up activities with clients in primary health care, health promotion, and risk reduction services. This position works from home and travels to and from various locations to meet with clients and to attend meetings and other engagements on Hawaii Island. May be required to work evenings and on weekends to meet the needs of the agency.
This is a two-year position funded under the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding and is subject to end on July 31, 2023.
