New Full-Time Physical Therapist Position Available (Outpatient)

Hi, I am Jared Pugmire, owner of High Desert Physical Therapy. I hope you are okay with me telling you a little about our backstory.

After graduating PT school... I was a staff physical therapist at a large, high volume clinic. Following a lot of hard work, I began to direct a clinic. As Clinic Director, I gained a lot of experience working with a wide variety of patients, but the intensity of pace was unsustainable. With that many patients in one day, life became a series of things to check off.

Productivity...

metrics... Metrics... METRICS!

I remember the nights coming home late, and being so frustrated. The lifestyle of high volume, and late hours wasn’t a good work/ life balance and wasn’t for me so I decided to return to Idaho and open up a clinic.

Don't get me wrong I learned a ton, but I wanted to "Be Different"

So, I started out small, just me and one office staff.

A couple patients started to trickle in...

Then a couple patients started to get better...QUICKER.

Fast forward a few years and we have helped thousands of local residents.

It has been a lot of fun getting to know our patients and members of the local community.

The key "metrics" we pride ourselves on is not volume, or number of new patients, or gross revenue....

… but our customer and staff satisfaction.

Okay time to “Brag” on our team a little bit.

We recently won… Idaho's Best Physical Therapy Clinic for the entire Eastern Region.

I was so excited for our staff to be recognized… especially after all they have been thru the past few years.

Most of these guys have been with us for 2+ years after hire, and the ones that do leave typically are the ones who move out of the area or create new opportunities for themselves.

Now let me address the “elephant” in the room…

“Why are you hiring?”

That’s a great question…

Due to the steady stream of patients flowing to the clinic and our promise to keep the work/life balance desirable for our employees, we recently decided to expand our clinic space within the building we own, and add another PT to the team.

Lucky for you… a Full-Time position has now become available.

We invest a lot of time and effort in our staff’s professional and personal development. While it is important to be a good clinician, it is even more important to be the best version of yourself.

As a team, we meet every week for in-service training and staff meetings. This way everyone hears the same message, and can share their opinions and ideas.

If required, new hire mentoring is available with our extensive orthopedic and manual therapy background clinicians.

I myself am a huge fan of personal development and sharpening our mindset, skillset, and network

I am truly blessed to have such a great team here at High Desert Physical Therapy, and I know much of our success is because of all the individuals who work inside our walls.
