The Medical Records Secretary will coordinate and maintain all medical records on each Resident in accordance with accepted professional standards and practices that are complete, accurately documented, readily accessible and systematically organized. Assure communication with all departments regarding nursing matters. These services are consistent with the Home's standards and philosophy and are in compliance with all regulations, codes, policies and procedures that govern the facility.
Successful candidates will have:
- A fundamental competency in Microsoft Office
- Minimum of 2 years experience in a medical record department preferred
- Knowledge of State and Federal regulations for medical records with a strong preference for a basic understanding of medical diagnosis and ICD-10 codes
- A valid US Drivers License with a good driving record
