Job description

We are seeking an office manager in the South Charlotte, NC area. The Office Manager is responsible for the operations and administration side of the medical office. Ensures office is running smoothly by supervising office staff, overseeing marketing and supporting the billing portion of the office. This individual is committed to providing exceptional customer service to our patients and is also committed to providing that same level of service laterally within the practice. We are seeking someone who is motivated, highly organized and a team player.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervise office staff (between 2 locations) support doctors and other team members
  • Ensure schedule is optimized and office runs smoothly each day
  • Verify payments are received. Utilize software to run and review reports
  • Marketing and organizing community events
  • Manage the electronic medical records system and patient files, including database work
  • Manage online requests and submissions
  • Liaise with billing department for insurance and payments
  • Maintenance and safety of medical office including HIPAA compliance
  • Back-up phone support/help with front desk as needed

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Essential

  • 5+ Years of experience with proven track record of being reliable.
  • Prior supervisor or office manager experience.
  • Healthcare background needed.
  • The ability and willingness to actively and effectively manage staff on a daily basis.
  • Highly organized and detail oriented.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work as a team member or individually.
  • Great computer skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • 4 year degree.

The hours are Monday – Friday 8-5PM. We offer a competitive salary plus generous PTO, Paid Holidays, a healthcare stipend and a 401K plan with matching.
