• Forklift Operator

Job Description –

• Loading, unloading, shipping, and receiving warehouse goods.
• Transporting materials and goods to different locations within the warehouse.
• Optimizing loads to ensure operational efficiency.
• Inspecting for damages to trailers before loading trucks.
• Inspecting for damages to container before offload begins.
• Operating and managing heavy machinery equipment.
• Managing inventory by utilizing pick tickets to complete proper pull of orders.
• Pulling orders.
• Staging orders.
• Performing quality control for pulled orders.
• Performing Receiving Reports for inbound goods and ensure to document and take photos for submission to office if items are damaged, wrong item, wrong quantity, or missing.
• Performing Return Report for inbound goods.
• Performing Item Move Report for inbound returns.
• Performing Damages Report for inbound damages and/or in house damages.
• Performing Loading Checklist upon shipping out orders loads.
• Performing New Item Set Up Report.
• Collect specifications for pulled orders to provide to office.
• Checking in inbound and outbound drivers and validating proper reference number.
• Applying pin locks to trailers/containers if freight is loaded in trailer/container and sitting in parking lot overnight.
• Warehouse put-away to warehouse locations.
• The ability and experience to utilize Sit Down Forklift, Forklift with Clamp, and Ride Along Pallet Jack.
• Conducting cycle counts.
• Inventory control.
• EOM, quarterly, and yearly inventory counts of entire warehouse for all customers.
• Daily forklift inspection.
• Basic warehouse fundamentals.
• Warehouse clean up.
• The ability to comfortably lift 40 pounds routinely.
• Maintain a positive attitude while upholding mutual respect for all.
• Time management skills.
• Continuously perform all required tasks in a safe manner, adhering to all established safety rules, procedures, and company policies.
• Meet and achieve safety, quality, production, and clean work area always.
• Maneuvering forklifts safely in busy industrial environments.
• Safely stacking and unstacking large quantities of good onto pallets.
• Ensuring that forklift driving areas are free from spills and obstructions.
• Perform other duties as required by management.
• Consolidating partial pallets per item per location for incoming goods.
• Review vendor routing guides the ensure that outbound shipments are compliant and devoid of chargeback issues.
• Communicating and working with office when needed for any type of label or documentation prints.
• Communicating with managers for any possible issues pertaining to something you are actively working on.

Education & Experience:

• 2+ years’ experience in 3PL environment
• High School Diploma and/or GED required
• College Degree is not required

Requirements

• Forklift Certification
• Valid Driver’s License
• 2+ Years’ Experience on Forklift Lift

• Monday-Friday, 2:30PM-11PM
