Job description
Candidates for this job opening are required to have at least 1 year of Kennel Technician experience at a veterinary hospital. The applicant can work part-time or Full time. We have an excellent drug and smoke-free facility, a very good work environment, and staff. Salary negotiable and depend on the employee’s attitude, experience, and personal initiative. Candidates should have strong customer service skills, bedside manners, good work ethics, and should be dependable and self-motivated. They should be Friendly with clientele and compassionate with patients. Candidates should be willing to do boarding/kennel works, especially during holidays and weekends. Candidates should have very good and acceptable pet handling skills (Dogs and Cats), client communication skills and phone etiquette. Candidates should be comfortable with the restraint of Dogs and Cats. Those familiar with Daycare and playtime activities preferred. Long term work relationship expected. Those willing to work both weekdays and weekend shifts preferred.
