General Information

Position Title: IT Help Desk Technician

Department: IT

Reports to: IT Manager

Purpose of Position

The purpose of this position is to coordinate, plan and lead information technology activities/systems, support users and align IT practices to support Nox-Crete’s future growth.

Position Duties and Responsibilities

  • Test, troubleshoot and repair all technology-related issues
  • Provide training to users on technology systems
  • Develop and maintain robust cybersecurity program
  • Evaluate risk, maintain network recovery and backup processes
  • Manage new and replacement software and hardware needs
  • Manage onboarding and separation processes for all new and terminated employees with respect to technology needs
  • Manage telephone system, door security, surveillance cameras
  • Coordinate with technology vendors as necessary
  • Align IT infrastructure with current and future business requirements and goals
  • Manage IT budget, control expenditure by researching and recommending cost-effective solutions
  • Maintain SharePoint/OneDrive administration
  • Assist Salesforce Developer with various tasks as required

Major Work Relationships

  • Routinely interact and work well with all employees to help create a work environment conducive to improving system efficiency and employee productivity
  • Work with vendors to ensure seamless operation of all technology-related systems

Education, Experience and Skills & Abilities

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in Technology-related field or equivalent experience

Skills & Abilities Required

  • Detail-oriented, proactive, logical, self-starter
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Strong problem-solving skills and an attitude to impact positive change
  • Detailed knowledge of IT-related issues – hardware, software, email, phone systems, etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
