• Maintaining a clean and orderly workspace.

• Expertise in operating and troubleshooting single and multi-blow cold heading equipment.

• Proficient in reading blueprints.

• Conducting preventative maintenance (PM) plan before and after implementing tooling changes.

• Ensuring parts and tooling adhere to print requirements.

• Examining tooling and setup.

• Repair and upkeep of all tools and dies.

• Adjusting machines to produce quality parts.

• Safely running a lift truck. Possessing a lift truck license is preferred.

• Loading coils onto spool rack.

• Coaching and teaching lower level operators.

• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Mechanical aptitude.

• Detail-focused.

• Capacity for verbal and written communication.

• Capacity for reading and understanding safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and other procedure manuals.

• Able to complete production and quality reports.

• Knowledge and compliance to safety rules.

• Positive attitude.

• 5-7 years of experience operating and setting up cold heading equipment.

• Experience in the Fastener sector is preferred.

Physical Requirements:

• Able to lift up to 50 lbs., and anything greater needing help and/or handling equipment. Regularly standing, walking, and reaching with hands and arms while executing tasks.
