FIS( Federal Inspection Station) Supervisor
As a leading airport logistics service provider, we are seeking a highly motivated and energetic leader focused on delivering quality customer service.
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY:
- Provide supervision to FIS personnel( Agents, Leads, and Ambassadors)
- Contributes to team effort by helping leads and agents with their duties as needed.
- Completes operational recaps; assigns and monitors work areas and breaks.
- Monitoring employee productivity and providing constructive feedback and coaching
- Maintains a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing organization safety standards.
- Learn the FIS Operation and track flight activity daily to preplan and assign employees to their positions.
- Provides quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards.
- Follows the proper protocol and prepares accurate documents when dealing with emergencies or incidents. Manages and handles troubling situations.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge. A supervisor serves as an inspiration and provides guidance for hardworking employees.
- Perform additional tasks as needed.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of a FIS Supervisor you are regularly required to sit; stand; walk; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms, and work in a fast-paced environment. Specific vision abilities required by this job include proximity vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. Good hand/eye coordination is required.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum of (1) year experience in a supervisory capacity involving customer service
- Ability to work flexible schedules including nights/holidays and weekends.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Must be self-motivated and willing to learn
- Ability to work in a fast-paced airport environment
- Ability to pass a criminal background check to be badged in secure areas of an airport
- Valid Driver’s License
- Valid Social Security
- Valid Passport or birth certificate
- If non-US Citizens valid working permit
- Able to communicate in English fluently
