Schedule options: Tuesday - Saturday OR Wednesday - Sunday (3:00 pm - 11:00 pm)

Must be able to attend one week paid orientation from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

SUMMARY

The Relatives Crisis Center is a organization dedicated to providing a safe and stable environment for youth aged 7-17 in a 24-hour residential facility. We serve youth who have run away from home, are homeless, or are in transition under the care of the Department of Social Services. As a Residential Youth Care Specialist, you will play a vital role in offering support, intervention services, and a sense of belonging to these vulnerable young individuals, helping them navigate through challenging circumstances and empowering them to reach their full potential.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

The role of Residential Youth Care Specialist requires a strong background in human services. While a Bachelor's degree in fields such as social work, psychology, counseling, or related disciplines is preferred, we also consider candidates with an equivalent combination of education and experience. For awake night, overnight, and weekend positions, an Associate degree in a human services field is acceptable, and we welcome applicants with relevant experience, even if they do not possess a degree. It is preferred that candidates have a minimum of 6 months of related experience working with youth in crisis or similar populations.

Valid NC or SC Driver's license.
