Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled Web Designer/Content Manager to develop and deploy user experience (UX) intentional web design and content for targeted internal and external stakeholders in the Defense Finance and Accounting Service.

To be successful as a Web Designer / Content Manager Functional, you shall independently assess current web environments and design strategic web infrastructure integrated with enterprise branding, marketing, and communications strategies.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

· Independently assess current web environments and design strategic web infrastructure integrated with enterprise branding, marketing, and communications strategies.

· Develop and deploy user experience (UX) intentional web design and content for targeted stakeholder groups, both internal and external, to the organization.

· Work competently within all web-based information platforms to include websites, social media and video platforms, and other communications technologies.

Required Skills and Experience:

Must have an equivalent of 5 years of direct or relevant experience and the following skill-specific experience:

· A minimum of 1 year experience with DoD unique web platforms (e.g. MilConnect, MilTube, etc.)

· Assess current web environments and design strategic web infrastructure integrated with enterprise branding, marketing, and communications strategies.

· Develop and deploy user experience (UX) intentional web design and content for targeted stakeholder groups, both internal and external, to the organization.

· Manage information within all web-based platforms to include websites, social media and video platforms, and other communications technologies.

· Produce work products that are accurate, professional in appearance, and free of any typographical, grammatical, spelling, or formatting errors.

Education:

A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a related discipline is desired

Location:

This position will be performed remotely from the contiguous United States (CONUS) with the understanding you will work hours corresponding with the Eastern Time Zone to facilitate working the same hours as the rest of the team.

If on-site services are required, the contractor shall be available to provide services at the following DFAS sites:

· DFAS Indianapolis, 8899 East 56th Street, Indianapolis, IN 46249

· DFAS Mark Center, 4800 Mark Center Drive, Suite 08J25-01, Alexandria, VA 22350-3000

· DFAS reserves the right to request services at additional DFAS sites as needed.
