Entry Level Water Meter Installer - GT Utility Solutions
We are looking for motivated individuals to join our team as Installation Technicians!
NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY!
Duties of the Installation Technician include using basic and specialty hand tools to install and service water sub-meters. The ideal candidate would be someone who enjoys traveling and working outside.
Previous experience in property maintenance, handyman/construction and/or plumbing would be helpful but not required. Ultimately, a successful Installation Technician will be a self-motivated individual that works well in a team environment and that wants to be well compensated for their hard work!
Responsibilities:
- Drive and/or ride along for long trips during travel days.
- Install and service water sub-meters.
- Take notes and be well organized.
- Work as a team to achieve performance goals
Requirements:
- Ability to work 'over the road' for 3-4 weeks at a time
- Ability to work in a team environment
- Ability to work outdoors.
- Ability to access tight and confined spaces mostly by kneeling and crawling
- Ability to use hand tools
- Ability to get dirty
Preferred skills (not required)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets & Microsoft Word/Google Docs for note taking
- Legible handwriting
- Detail Oriented
- Familiarity with plumbing tools and fittings.
- Familiarity with basic hand tools (channel lock pliers, razor knives, hammers, drills, shovels)
SALARY
- $16-$19 per hour starting (based on previous work history and skills)
