JOB SUMMARY: The VP of Clinical Quality is responsible for the group experience at Charlie Health. From the clinician's perspective, the VP of Clinical Quality is responsible for ensuring clinicians have access to cutting-edge curricula, providing training on evidence-based practices, and conducting performance management for continuous skill-building and growth. From the Client's perspective, this role is directly responsible for incorporating client feedback into programming and operational changes, collaborating with the Product team to create a unique user experience, and ensuring positive outcomes for all cohorts. The ideal candidate has managed large, complex teams and has operational experience in a healthcare setting. The VP of Clinical Quality is a data-driven thought leader looking to make a difference for adolescents and young adults across the country needing life-saving care.

DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  • Responsible for the performance of all Clinical Programming Directors and Group Facilitators including development of department goals and objectives, monitoring of key performance indicators
  • Ensure all groups are of the highest clinical quality including overseeing the development, implementation, and execution of new and iterative curriculum
  • Acts as a thought leader and collaborative partner with the Chief Clinical Officer in the evolution of our clinical programming
  • Collaborates across the organization with Research and Clinical Outcomes, Care Strategy, Care Delivery, and Product to ensure the client and clinician experience within groups are top notch
  • Organizes and prioritizes all Clinical Programming Projects in alignment with Company-wide goals and objectives
  • Serves as point person for the launch of new treatment tracks based on Company-wide goals or pilot projects
  • Works with Research and Outcomes to identify key trends to the efficacy of the clinical model in an effort to find areas to change or improve in the clinical model
  • Provides flexible hours for staff to come and ask questions and to have client consultations
  • Ensures that clinical services are delivered in accordance with recognized best practices within literature and research with the continued development across modalities provided at Charlie Health
  • Strives to keep Charlie Health's clinical services relevant and to the highest quality possible by consistently reviewing recent literature and research of the recognized best practices
  • Takes initiative on individualized projects set forth by Leadership

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Work authorized in the United States and native or bilingual proficiency in English required
  • 5+ years of management experience developing and leading large teams required (100+)
  • Deep experience in care operations and driving clinical outcomes required
  • Background in adolescent behavioral healthcare or related fields preferred
  • Background in Social Work, Clinical Psychology or a related field preferred
  • W2 position, full-time with flexibility availability for at least 40 hours per week, including evenings
  • Ability to work in ambiguous environments and create a structure for yourself and your team
  • Ability to function both independently and collaboratively in a totally remote environment
  • Strong interpersonal, relationship-building, and listening skills, with a natural, consultative style
  • Ability to energize, communicate, and build rapport at all levels within an organization
  • Passion for working in a rapidly growing business with curiosity, humility, humor, and professionalism
  • Proactive self-starter and natural multitasker
  • Familiarity with and willingness to use cloud-based communication software—Gmail, Slack, Zoom, Dropbox–in addition to EMR and outcomes survey software on a daily basis #LI-remote
