Rapid Dot & Drug Testing is looking for a specimen collector to join our team.

The Specimen Collectors primary function is to facilitate the collection, processing, and shipping of human specimens (i.e., urine, hair, saliva, DNA) from the clinic/site to the laboratory

*Each specimen must be properly labeled & documented. *The specimen must also be prepared for shipment

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

*Demonstrate customer service and compassion when interacting with clients *Ensure accurate and complete laboratory requisition forms. *Always ensure effective communication. *Represent Rapid DOT & Drug Testing professionally. *Work in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, rules & regulations. *Maintain neat, clean, orderly work areas at all times.

Skills Requirements:

*Reliable attendance with a strong work ethic *Must be punctual for every shift. *Communicate information & ideas both verbally & in written format. *Ability to work independently, successfully manage workload, work under pressure, and adapting to changes in the work environment are essential.

Specimen Collector Role:

*Perform only one specimen collection at a time *Prohibit unauthorized personnel from entering the collection site during the collection process. *Restrict access to collection supplies before and during the collection process. *Ensure that chain of custody is maintained & documented throughout the collection procedure *Ensure integrity of collected specimen sample.

Education and Certification Education/Experience Requirements:

*High School Diploma or Equivalent (required) *Experience in a specimen collection capacity (preferred but not required *training to be provided) *Fast & Accurate Data Entry (preferred)

Physical Requirements:

*Must be able to sit or stand for up to 8 hours per day. *Regularly required to sit, stand, and move about facilities. *Must have reliable transportation

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $20.00/hour.
