Erection & Welding Contractors is an AISC certified fabrication and erection company looking for a Senior Project Manager.

Sr. Project Manager – Structural Steel / Misc Metals
Essential Functions

The Sr. Project Manager is responsible to ensure that all detailing, fabrication and erection functions are carried out according to the specifications of the AISC Code of
Standard practice for Structural Steel Buildings, Bridge and Bridge Components,
Erection requirements and customer contract and contract documents.

Duties

Maintain project control and reporting procedures and Manage changes in Budgets,
Plans and schedules

Plan and lead team members, vendors and Site Superintendents per each projects demands and requirements process.

Execute all duties while monitoring progress and schedule

Guide and Control the particular project dynamics as well as team communications of any and all change outside of the original schedule and project plan.

At project end you will be responsible for closing out all related contract items as well as internal process’s, paperwork, and reporting

Education

Bachelors in Construction Management preferred
Engineering education would be beneficial
Must have minimum of 10 year’s experience with structural and miscellaneous metals
Must be familiar with Commercial, Government and Private contracts

Physical Requirements
The work of the Sr. Project Manager is a highly responsible position which requires mental acuity. In the office you will be required to do office tasks, sit for an hour or more, speak, hear, stand, walk, balance, stoop, squat, bend, and/or kneel.

When you visit a project site you will be required to sit for an hour or more, speak, hear, stand, walk, balance, stoop, squat, bend, and/or kneel, climb ladders or equipment.

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

Work Environment
The Sr Project Manager will be exposed to active fabrication and construction site environments with OSHA rules and certification requirements as well as stringent safety rules and regulations. They also will sometimes be exposed to inclement weather and other elements, including dust, dirt, and varying degrees of heat and cold.
