Job Summary

The Software Developer I is responsible for actively participating in web application development via an agile methodology (scrum) and translating business requirements into technical solutions. The Software Developer I will help create technical design specifications and documentation, and participate in planning, designing, developing, and implementing application components while collaborating with management and end users to define and deliver functional web-based applications.

General Duties/Responsibilities

· Solution planning, design, and analysis of new and enhanced application features.

· Application development, testing, and ticket resolution for application bugs.

· Supporting existing custom developed applications.

· Create and support workflows in various software systems.

· Execute software development processes to ensure application integrity and availability.

· Bring alternative, innovative solutions and recommendations to the team for consideration.

· Other projects as assigned by the Development Team Manager.

· Additional duties may be defined based on the applicant’s abilities and interests.

Required Skills and Abilities

· Experience or familiarity with web application development and design.

· Experience or familiarity in .NET / .NET Core (C#) and HTML5 development.

· Experience or familiarity in a MVVM pattern such as React, Angular, or Vue.

· Experience or familiarity working with databases specifically MS SQL Server and Entity Framework as an ORM.

· Experience or familiarity with Web API services.

· Experience or familiarity with SharePoint / Power Automate workflows are a plus.

· Ability to interact with coworkers for capturing problems and providing resolutions.

· Ability to work with a variety of personalities and take direction with minimum supervision.

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced agile environment and handle pressure while managing multiple tasks.

· Ability to demonstrate and uphold the Company’s core values.

Education/Experience Required

· Associates degree in Computer Science or High School Diploma / GED equivalent with related industry experience.

Hours of Work

· Regular and consistent attendance is mandatory.

· Regular hours of work are 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Monday – Friday. Hybrid work considerations after introductory period.

· At times, this position will require flexibility and may need to work outside of the days and times listed herein (Rollout solutions or break-fix support during downtime windows).

Pay: $58,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
