We are currently seeking a talented Social Media Manager to join our growing team! This is an onsite position in our Bucks County, PA headquarters. As Social Media Manager, you will be responsible for the overall direction and execution of social media campaigns and content across multiple channels. Their duties include analyzing engagement data, identifying trends in customer interactions, and planning social campaigns. This position supports Burpee’s mission by creating and implementing content that elevates brand and product stories in new and innovative ways while aligning with brand marketing goals.
Responsibilities Include:

  • Architects and manages the development of the brand’s social calendar, translating high-level marketing strategy and messaging into relevant weekly and daily content.
  • Builds active engagement and deep connection with our audience by sharing stories that inspire and create impact, delivering our content through engaging multimedia experiences and actively listening to our community.
  • Becomes familiar with library of content and utilizes it in new and exciting ways.
  • Creates compelling text, video, and graphic social media posts.
  • Proposes fresh ideas while analyzing data and consumer trends to identify relevant opportunities that challenge the status quo
  • Manages monthly and quarterly analytics reporting process, provide insights, recommendations, and tracks against KPIs
  • Monitors all social media channels and partners with customer service team to support and engage with customers.
  • Identifies opportunities to grow our social media following and expand our reach by building and leveraging relationships with influencers, partners and ambassadors
  • Stays up to date with industry emerging trends.

The successful candidate will have an in-depth knowledge of the latest best practices, tools, and trends on social media platforms related to YouTube, Instagram, Instagram stories, IGTV, Instagram Live, TikTok, Meta/Meta Live, Pinterest, Twitter, Amazon Live etc. Candidates should have incredible attention to detail, proven time and project management skills, and excellent verbal and written communication skills with impeccable grammar.
Bachelor’s Degree in English, Journalism, Communications or related field or commensurate experience and 3+ years managing multiple social platforms, and collaborating across matrixed organizations to achieve desired end results. Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and function well in a high-paced environment.
