How You’ll Add Value…

As a responsive team member in the New Jersey-based Logistics team, you will bring your enthusiasm for customer service and attention to details to care for and distribute timely deliverables in one of our fastest-growing business areas.

What You’ll Do…

• Perform the physical and/or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing and distribution of materials, supplies, and samples for internal storage and customer delivery.
• Will be working in a laboratory setting.
• Handling DNA and Bacteria samples throughout the day.
• Updating Excel spreadsheets and responding to emails from the project teams.
• May perform a variety of coordinating, routing and material/sample handling duties.
• Unpack and check goods received against purchase orders or internal invoices
• Maintain records of received goods/samples
• Prepare and maintains records of materials shipped.
• Examine, stock and distribute materials in inventory and to/for service lines.
• Emphasis on sample management / record-keeping / shipping

What You’ll Bring…

• High School Diploma +3 years in related field OR
• Associate Degree +1 year in related field
• Previous parcel shipping and experience is preferred
• Dangerous Goods certified a plus
• Ability to use judgment in resolving issues or recommending solutions.
• Strong and thorough knowledge of the basic principles, practices, and processes in the applicable discipline and has a working knowledge of related fields.
• Being an effective team-player committed to our goals
• Maintain a neat and professional appearance as a representative of the company
• Must have the ability to provide courteous, professional, and efficient customer service
• Excellent interpersonal skills; both verbal and written are essential
• Strong attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Outlook and Word

Working Conditions/ Schedule

• Position will report to our South Plainfield, NJ location.
• Working hours are 8:30am-5pm
• Able to lift up to 45 lbs.
