Summary

CHS has an exciting opportunity in the Information Technology group. We are looking for a Senior SAP Security Engineer. This position will be a part of the SAP Security team and work directly with the SAP Product teams maintaining and supporting security methodologies for SAP and related software. The position will help resolve technical issues through troubleshooting and analysis, help automate administrative and security functions, and provide input and feedback on security related decisions supporting a compliant SAP solution at CHS. The work will be done in a team environment and leading several areas of support. This is a remote position with occasional travel required.

Responsibilities

  • Interface with Security, Compliance, and Process teams to deliver a compliant solution.
  • Point of contact and lead several business solution process areas.
  • Actively participate in audit activities including providing explanations of operational processes, audit evidence, and responses to audit related inquiries.
  • Create and maintain roles and authorizations aligned with business requirements.
  • Analyze and implements SAP security requirements; work with process teams to ensure proper authorizations are built into roles and monitor for segregation of duties violations.
  • Provide troubleshooting and operational support for all SAP Security roles/processes.
  • Provide routine support for problem and change tickets.
  • Assist with the cyber-security efforts to ensure a hardened and risk-free solution.
  • Perform other responsibilities as needed or assigned.

Minimum Qualifications (required)

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology Management, or related field (or equivalent years of experience, education, and training)
  • 4+ years of experience in Information Technology and/or IT Security supporting SAP to include one or more of the following:
    • Proven experience creating and maintaining compliant user roles and authorizations based on business requirements and following documented procedures
    • Proven skills to troubleshoot issues and provide compliant solutions
    • Understanding of IT Security systems lifecycle and support

Additional Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience with SAP authorization administration and compliant role builds
  • Experience with SAP S/4 v1909 core components including Fiori and role management
  • Experience working with SAP GRC Access Controls and Process Controls solutions
  • Proven experience with an Identity Management Solution and interfacing with SAP GRC-AC
  • Experience with SAP Cloud solution offerings
  • Change management using SAP Solution Manager ChaRM and Focus Build
  • CISSP and/or SAP Security Certification
  • High accuracy and ownership of work duties
  • Support work in a collaborative team environment
  • Employ Lean concepts to eliminate waste in daily tasks
  • Good knowledge and understanding of NIST framework
  • Strong verbal communication – able to communicate complex and technical issues in plain English
