What will I be doing?

As the Senior Director, Property Product Management, you will collaborate with User Experience (UX), Technology, Deployment, Marketing, and Analytics leaders across Hilton to reimagine our on-property experience. The position will drive the strategies, roadmap, and launch of new concepts to make travel easier and more inspiring for our guests. You will obsess about both the team member and customer experiences, identify business requirements and opportunities, build and communicate a strategic roadmap, and report on performance all through partnerships with many cross functional groups. Reporting to the VP of Property & Digital Channels, you will have a highly visible role across the entire organization. More specifically, you will:

  • Identify industry trends, hotel needs, and guest expectations for opportunities to reimagine the hotel experience to build the best-in-class travel and stay experience
  • Leverage data from various sources, including digital analytics, voice-of-customer, and competitive analysis, to gain a deep understanding of current guest and team member experiences. Find opportunities to innovate and offer differentiated capabilities that both delight our customers, as well as support commercial metrics and hotel efficiencies
  • Partner with business owners and subject matter experts to define the product roadmap. Prioritize and sequence capabilities that target a combination of scaled deployment, hotel efficiencies, and experience measurements and targets
  • Receive input from teams throughout the enterprise and gain consensus on priorities and communicate decisions with sound reasoning
  • Develop and present executive-level communications that effectively communicate the strategic plan and progress of projects and the roadmap

To fulfill this role successfully, you should demonstrate the following minimum qualifications:

  • Twelve (12) years of professional experience in Digital Product, Technology, or related field
  • Five (5) years of experience in an agile or scrum development environment writing user stories and gathering requirements from various collaborators
  • Previous experience leading teams
  • Travel as needed

It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

  • Bachelor's Degree, or Associate's Degree plus 6+ years of Technology related experience, or High School Degree/GED plus 12+ years of Technology related experience
  • Two (2)+ years of hospitality, travel, or transportation industry digital product development expertise with a mix of experience from a variety of product roles
  • Five (5)+ years of Management experience leading and mentoring teams of three (3)+ people
  • Product development experience in a franchised business model
