About the role

The Salesforce Solution Architect is expected to be an expert when comes to designing and architecting Salesforce solution. We are seeking an individual who is highly self-motivated, quick learner and thought leader.

This role expected to be an individual contributor role with no supervision offered and limited ramp up time. The candidate will be responsible for creating & delivering end to end Salesforce solutions using force.com platform (lightning or classic solutions, VF Pages, Apex etc.) in a timely and accurate fashion. The candidate will be responsible for the overall Salesforce Architecture and Design for multiple projects upholding opportunities to use OOTB product offerings, configuration over customization, robust data/object model maximizing use of standard objects where applicable, reuse existing functionality across multiple applications etc. The candidate must demonstrate progressive leadership in the full life cycle of the software development environment and capable of providing needful assistance to various activities like devOps, platform governance/administration best practices etc.

Through the use visual tools, diagrams, and best-practice methodologies, you will be responsible for the design of Salesforce related projects from inception through production support. You will be responsible for ensuring that the system accurately meets the defined expectations of the project, ensuring that the team is enabled to execute the vision as designed. In collaboration with Salesforce Platform Manager, Consumer Architect, Scrum Master, and Product Owner, the Salesforce Architect will be responsible for defining sound Application/Integration design. As an architect, you also required to collaborate communicate effectively to both functional and technical stakeholders across the board, including non-Salesforce teams.

Responsibilities

• Review and integrate all application requirements into Architecture design, including functional, security (authentication & authorization), integration, performance, quality, and operational needs.
• Participate in quarterly planning sessions to understand priorities across the program and align project designs ensuring minimal customization and maximum reusability
• Design flexible, scalable, and robust architecture for Salesforce to meet the dynamic needs of various projects on Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, Service Cloud, etc.
• Guide technical teams to deliver flexible and scalable solutions that meets overall business requirements
• Oversee phases for multiple projects including development, testing, deployment to ensure alignment with application architecture.
• Drive the adoption of Salesforce best practices and build standard processes for development and testing teams to follow.
• Understand requirements and provide one or more options for the solution utilizing Salesforce best practices.
• Design Salesforce integrations solution with different systems utilizing either loosely couple (event driven architecture) or tightly coupled (using Webservices (REST or SOAP) or data integration tools/middleware (i.e. Mulesoft)). Experience with technologies like Heroku, AWS, Azure and Snowflake is a plus.
• Architecting big data solutions and decide on alternatives like data virtualization or UI integration as opposed to data integration
• Perform technical solution reviews and provide recommendations to improve adoption and usage.
• Mentors team members in technology, architecture, and delivery of applications.
• Perform hands-on solution design and delivers proof-of-concepts

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
• Minimum 8-10 years of direct experience with developing, configuring, and implementing successful Salesforce project implementations
• Minimum 3-5 years of experience on Salesforce & Force platform as an Architect
• Experience with data modeling, standard/custom/external objects, managing different kind of data relationship within Salesforce platform is a must
• Experience in Aura, Lighting web components, VF Pages/Apex with strong hands-on exposure and familiarity with development best practices.
• Proven experience in overseeing the direction, development, and implementation of Salesforce solutions.
• Strong knowledge of Salesforce best practices and methodologies
• Strong Interpersonal Skills, ability to work with teams and stakeholders of different backgrounds and time zones in a multicultural environment.
• Experience working with Agile teams and use of tools such as Jira etc.
• Experience with DevOps processes and CI/CD processes/tools, such as Azure DevOps/Copado etc.
• Strong knowledge with salesforce authentication mechanism such as SSO (using SAML or OAuth), MFA, Connected Apps, Delegated Authentication etc.
• Must be very familiar with various Salesforce platform limits (i.e. governor limits) including but not limited to email limits, Apex limits, SOQL limits etc.
• Knowledge handing big data scenarios and ability to architect solution to ensure acceptable performance etc.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, decision making, and problem solving skills. Ability to articulate and present different points-of-views on various technologies.
• Experience with managed packages and AppExchange preferred
• Motivated, high-potential performer, with demonstrated ability to influence and lead.
• Able to solve complex problems and successfully manage ambiguity and unexpected change.
• Salesforce Administrator and Developer Certifications required.
• Salesforce Architecture Certifications preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $98,745.00 - $180,000.00 per year
