In-home nursing requires excellent assessment skills, nursing judgment, facilitation of child development, emotional support, and the ability to act quickly to any change of condition. The technical skills needed include tracheostomy care, airway management, G and GJ tubes, and a variety of nursing interventions that make it both challenging and rewarding. It combines care in the home with intensive care.

Basic Qualifications:

• Current Washington State Registered Nurse license without restrictions | RN

or

• Current Washington State Licensed Practical Nurse license without restrictions | LPN
