Job description
The FHC Revenue Cycle Configuration Manager summarizes complex data to develop, maintain, and enhance the configuration of business rules and software, producing a structured, flexible and high quality configuration that meets the requirements of the business areas. This individual will collaborate with Information Technology, Billing, and other business areas to ensure the successful implementation, optimization, maintenance and support of all relevant applications and solutions needed to support the FHC strategic and business imperatives with a primary focus on leveraging deep application or technical expertise in support of these activities. The Revenue Cycle Configuration Manager consults with internal and external stakeholders to ensure business and health care industry needs are being met in current and future initiatives.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Required: One of the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in health care, business, computer science, education or related field and seven years’ experience in information technology or business configuration. Experience with classification coding tools.
- Associate degree or 60+ credits in healthcare, business, computer science, education or related field and nine years’ experience in information technology or business configuration. Experience with classification coding tools.
Preferred/Optional: Ten years’ of health insurance, health care claims, or related experience. Experience with Structured Query Language (SQL) and software specific to department the position supports.
