We are hiring Refuge Concierges and Refuge Attendants.

REFUGE: America's 1st Co-Ed Hydrothermal Relaxation Spa situated on two acres adjacent to Carmel Valley Athletic Club. It uses hydrothermal cycles which is fairly common in Europe and Japan, but this facility is one of the finest in the world. Besides offering Admission to the pools and relaxation area, Refuge also offers Swedish and Deep Tissue Massages. Refuge is open daily from 10 am to 10 pm.

REFUGE ATTENDANT AND CONCIERGE JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A mature, positive, warm and outgoing personality.
  • Professional demeanor, ethical behavior, and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Must have previous customer service experience within a hospitality setting.
  • Able to work with computer systems.
  • Flexible and able to multi-task.
  • Flexibility in work schedule to include weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to work semi-independently without direct supervision by following all club's procedures and standards.
  • Ability to follow through on assigned tasks and demonstrate initiative.
  • Ability to utilize PC station with MS Office background.
  • Excellent communication skills in English orally, in writing and over the telephone.
  • Excellent grooming at all times, maturity and respectfulness to guest and co-workers.
  • Ability to work standing for eight hours.
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions - in and outside.
  • Ability to carry and lift 50+ safely.
