Manpower is currently hiring for a Quality Control Coordinator to support our client's team, based out of San Diego, California!

- Pay Weekly (Friday)
- Temp to hire position
- Competitive wages at $28.98
What you'll be doing:
- Performing routine testing for product release (e.g. pH, potency via UPLC, etc.)
- Perform and review the Daily Compliance Verification Checklist, document results, and report to immediate supervisor.
- Entering results in internal LIMs system for product release
- Environmental monitoring and documentation e.g. personnel monitoring, air bioburden, surface bioburden, temperatures, and particle counts
- Collect Environmental Monitoring samples as necessary
- Sterility tests, aseptic technique qualifications, and media fill process validations.
- Document non-compliance and evaluate if further investigation is needed
- Submit samples to the appropriate labs for chemical assay and microbial tests.
- Performing testing for samples related to new product development, special projects, investigations, etc. and sharing results with stakeholders
- Perform inventory of supplies
- Assist in the coordination of receiving/sending out samples
- Assisting Quality Technicians (QTs) in testing or guiding them for equipment/process troubleshooting
- Participate in Director of Pharmacy's staff meetings
- Other duties as assigned
Who we're looking for:
- BS. or B.A. degree in Science (Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, Pharmacy)
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a QC/QC department of a pharmaceutical or Allied Health Science.
