Role Title: Purchasing Coordinator

Role Purpose:
➢ Continuously reduce the total cost of ownership and secure supply of Indirect (Non-Inventory) goods and services.

➢ Administers the P2P system to assure timeline conversion of shopping carts in accordance with establish processes.
➢ Administer the electronic sourcing tools, basic order consolidation and basic catalog candidate identification.
➢ Centralized resource for the local entities.
➢ Buyer position requires making independent decisions (within established guidelines) working with Suppliers, Requistioners,

Approvers and Procurement Teams.
➢ Major focus will be executing established systems, process and policy thereby ensuring compliance both internally (with

Procurement) and externally (with Suppliers).
➢ Works on complex IT systems executing diverse complex Procurement Processes.

Core Accountabilities:
1. Work independently with requisitioners and suppliers in order to effectively and efficiently convert shopping carts to purchase orders in order to minimize the total cost of ownership. Conduct basic quality assurance checks on shopping cart to ensure all require data is complete and accurate.

2. Conduct basic competitive bidding on buys that are in scope as per policy. As necessary, refer buys outside of scope as per policy to correct sourcing personnel, e.g. Category Manager, etc.

3. Resolve and perform root cause analysis on all Invoice Holds that occur that are workflowed to Procurement to rectify in a timely manner.

4. Run report to identify candidates for catalog development and work with Procurement members to determine feasibility. Those that are to be catalogs, work with catalog team to enable supplier catalog.

5. Run report to identify candidates or during shopping cart conversion for payment terms improvement and work with Procurement members to determine feasibility. Those that are to be candidates, work with Procurement members to negotiate improvement in terms.

6. Run report to identify categories or areas of spend that are candidates for eAuction activity and work with Procurement members to determine feasibility. Those that are to be candidates, work with Procurement members to set up and run the events.

7. Lead basic end user training via Teams to ensure end user can utilize the system correctly.

8. Monitor the Indirect Procurement Mailbox.

9. Recommend solutions to system issues and work to improve processes where possible.

10. Participate in professional training programs.

Competencies and Qualifications:

B.S. degree in business or technical-related discipline required

Up to Five years of indirect procurement experience – preferable in a centralized structure

Ability to travel approximately 5%

Strong computer skills; Microsoft Office, SAP, and related systems

Good written and oral communication skills

Ability to work well in cross-functional teams

Strong analytical and organizational skills

Total Cost of Ownership understanding & analysis

Product & category expertise

Ability in Supplier analysis

Contract management skills

Supplier relationship management

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
