Title: Program Manager

Location: National Capital Region (NCR)

Reports to: Vice President, Operations

Status: Full-time

The Program Manager (PM) will oversee an assigned portfolio of Professional Services contracts supporting DoD and Federal customers. The PM will drive contract operational efficiencies and effectiveness - delivering programs and projects to enable success. The PM will manage project schedules, budgets, and quality across the portfolio. The PM will maximize the quality-of-service delivery, grow business revenues, and serve as the primary customer point of contact on contractual and all business matters.

Responsibilities

The scope of the management duties include:

  • Program Management (Executing on Contractual Requirements)
  • Program Quality Assurance
  • Customer Relationship Management
  • Corporate Revenue growth by maximizing Customer Enhancements

  • Have a successful record of identifying and managing new growth opportunities within a Federal portfolio of contracts
  • Have a proven ability to think critically, solve problems and effectively communicate solutions that provide performance enhancements that add value to the customer
  • Bring a deep familiarity of prior experience participating in business development, capture activities, and proposal/solutions development
  • Have a clear understanding and knowledge of Information Technology (IT) best practices and policies
  • Have demonstrated leadership skills
  • Be an exceptional communicator (writing, speaking, and decision-making skills)
  • Provide strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Partner with senior leadership on roadmap design and developing program solutions to optimize and evolve existing programs in a manner that will allow the organization to scale
  • Ensure the effective management of scope, schedule, cost, quality, staffing, communications, risk, and subcontractor performance to sustain exceptional performance across all projects
  • Regularly engage with all appropriate project stakeholders to identify and develop performance enhancements and solutions that bring value to the customer
  • Enable growth of assigned portfolio of contracts and participate in ITility planning and enhancement activities
  • Influence customer decisions through collaboration, leadership, and a customer-focused approach
  • Analyze performance, processes and program quality to make assessments and recommendations for improvement
  • Identify capability enhancements that add value by resolving problems, issues, gaps or variance in performance to meet customer specified, implied or emerging requirements
  • Establish Program goals and develop plans to meet those goals
  • Manage and lead project resources, develop and communicate individual responsibilities, ensure accountability, and foster professional development
  • Travel as required to engage customers and employees

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree – required
  • 15 years of demonstrated leadership experience, organizational management, and/or training skills. Experience may include - military leadership, program management, project management, and/or business development experience demonstrating success in developing programs of record, long-range planning, establishing priorities, synchronizing activities & allocating resources, assessing performance, and executing/altering plans as needed
  • Successful Strategic Integrator (SI) Program Management experience – preferred
  • Senior IT professional management experience leading DoD and/or Federal programs
  • Thorough understanding of the DoD mission, organizational structure, functional responsibilities, and an established professional network within the DoD and/or Federal community
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) – preferred
  • Computer skills: to include – Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project)
  • Current Security Clearance with ability to obtain and maintain TS clearance

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $165,000.00 - $172,500.00 per year
