Furniture, Fridge/Microwave Combo Units Delivery & Assembly (Central Michigan University)

We at Bedloft.com are looking for a delivery rep for our rental program at Central Michigan University. This school allows us to rent bed lofts and fridge/microwave combo units to students who live in the residence halls. We are looking for a hard working and self-motivated individual to deliver and pick up lofts as well as dorm size fridges to and from students room.

The ideal candidate would have a flexible schedule in their current employment, as this position is very seasonal. For the start of 2023, we expect 5-15 hours of work each week. These duties will include (but not be limited to) contacting and scheduling appointments with students, delivering and assembling bed lofts and fridges, and disassembling and removing bed lofts and fridges. During this time of the year a majority of all the work can be done in the evenings or on weekends. Must haves for this position include: vehicle capable of transporting lofts from storage location to campus (truck or SUV), internet access, valid drivers license, a cell phone and the ability to operate a 26' box truck during our peak season. No CDL license is required to drive the box truck.

This is a year-round job with part-time hours. During the months of May and August, we are much busier and would be more time involved. The person we hire will be trained on our systems and on campus, and will be expected to run the installation and removal during our busy times, without an Area Manager present.
