Job description
Position Purpose:
To manage all functions of the Woodland Park campus bookstore. To manage all product sales both physical and digital for the Communications team. To track and follow up budgets and expenses tied to product sales. This position will oversee a team including staff and interns, and ensure students and guests are assisted in a variety of ways. This includes designing, tracking, selling a product, and other related tasks. This also includes working with other teams and departments in working as a liaison.
Essential Duties:
- Manage, coach, and mentor Bookstore cashiers, and interns, to increase team morale and motivation.
- Encourage the overall culture of Andrew Wommack Ministries and Charis Bible College
- Oversee all products, both Charis and AWM, including designing, ordering, maintaining inventory, floor display, and record keeping
- Present sales, revenue, and expense reports to the management team as needed
- Prepare periodic accounting and inventory reports
- Develop and write standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Work with vendors and POs
- Implement improvements to the student and guest experience
- Work with Charis Marketing and promotion of sales
- Oversee Bookstore Social Media pages
- Oversee Bookstore operations during all on-site Conferences & Events
- Work with vendors for retailing and events
- Look for and implement improvements to the student and guest experience
- Create an atmosphere of hospitality, ensuring excellent quality products are sold, and that all team members represent the ministry with excellence
- Successfully lead in a fast-paced, the high demand environment
- Other duties as assigned by the Director of Product Sales
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must have problem-solving skills
- Basic mathematics and accounting knowledge are necessary
- Able to train and coach
- Able to lead a team in planning and executing events
- Excellent attention to detail
- Must be able to operate a point-of-sale system
- Must have a high level of professionalism and discretion in dealing with sensitive information
- Must have Microsoft Office Experience (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Access)
- Exercise vision and sound judgment in decision making
- Excellent organizational, administrative, and time management skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Creative, self-starter
Requirements:
- Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- Must sign the Statement of Faith
- Must be service-oriented and have demonstrated abilities in establishing and maintaining essential work relationships.
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience required; 2 Year Degree in Administration, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.
- Charis Bible College graduate preferred.
- Must pass all required checks
Experience:
- Customer service experience in a store or hospitality setting preferred.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of Manager/ Leadership role
- Experience in money management
- Compensation is commensurate with experience
