Job Summary:
The Physician Contract Coordinator has primary responsibility for maintaining (non-technical) and monitoring the MediTract contract system as it relates to physician and physician service related contracts. Responsibility includes developing and updating reports to monitor pending and renewal contract requirements, as well as monitoring Fair Market Valuation and Commercial Reasonableness analyses, either internally generated or furnished from independent third parties and following up with key stakeholders to ensure timely completion. The incumbent works with Directors, Service Line Leaders and other managerial and executive personnel in collaboration and coordination of the physician contract submission, approval and renewal process. Assists with the revision of contracts, and prepares documentation for MediTract submission. The incumbent serves as staff to the Contract Review Committee, preparing meeting agendas, assembling and distributing supporting information to Committee Members. The Contract Coordinator drafts the Committee Meeting Minutes and follows up with legal department on any questions or issues arising from contracts, addendums or amendments.

The incumbent serves as the Physician Contract Coordinator for the Vice President Strategy and Business Development, to plan, organize, coordinate and implement meetings and special projects. The incumbent drafts Board resolutions and processes invoices from Independent Contractor physicians as well as employed physicians and physician groups. Drafts Meeting Minutes for strategic planning executive sessions and develops a variety of requested reports for submission to various committees in EHS as well as to various hospital executives. Serves as liaison between VP and executive staff, directors, managers and various members of the community. The incumbent maintains the scheduling activities for the VP, including calendaring, travel and expense management and. Staff support of the Business Development team is provided through this position.

This position spends approximately 10% (over the course of a year) of his/her time in support of the ContinuCare. This involves a variety of administrative support activities involving scheduling activities, contracts, preparing invoices for payment, banking, serving as point person for all legal and regulatory matters, provider relations and corporate filings. ContinuCare is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Erlanger.

Education:
Required:
Associate's Degree in Business, Office Management, certified Legal Secretary, certified Paralegal, or comparable combination of education and experience. Proficiency in the utilization of MS Office, office equipment, computer systems, and business communication

Education and skill set requires the ability to competently provide a wide range of professional office activities, contract management and staff support for Strategy, Planning and Business Development.

Preferred:
Bachelor's Degree with Paralegal certificate.

Experience:
Required:
Three to six years' experience in a hospital setting, medical office setting and or paralegal field where high volume contract management is involved. Must have experience in traditional and electronic formats of contract management with emphasis on precision. Highly proficient in Microsoft Office, including MS Word and MS Excel and PowerPoint with the capability to assist others with the detailed software functions. The position will handle confidential information with maturity and discretion. He/she must have excellent communication and organizational skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple activities with conscientious attention to detail. This is particularly important in the development of presentation material (typically PowerPoint) for use internally and externally as well as certain operating metric reports (using Excel or data base programs).

Preferred:
Prefer at least seven years' experience as a paralegal in a law firm, health system or corporate legal department with extensive experience with Microsoft Office and MediTract or a web-based contract management system similar to MediTract.

Department Position Summary:

Serves as front line monitor for the Department for the MediTract System and monitors accuracy of input of physician contracts and related documents into the MediTract System.
Serves as primary liaison with contract related matters with EHS staff and legal.

Manages and processes contracts through contract routing system
Reviews and distributes all outside billing invoices after completing approval process.
Handles confidential information with maturity and discretion at all times.
Assists in greeting Strategy, Planning and Business Development visitors and scheduling conference rooms, Zoom calls and remote meetings as required.
Develops, composes and prepares correspondence, reports, contracts, etc., as requested.
Supports the VP of Strategy, Planning, and Business Development with planning, organizing, coordinating and implementing administrative functions, meetings and special projects.
Serves as liaison between VP and executive staff, directors, managers and various members of the community.
Develops presentation material (typically PowerPoint) for use internally and externally as well as certain operating metric reports (using Excel or data base programs).
Supports ContinuCare as required.
Completes all mandatory training requirements.
Maintains a professional demeanor at all times
