Summerfield Healthcare Center- Post Acute Rehab is a 5 Star Skilled Nursing Facility and we are looking to add a Phlebotomist to our team! ABOUT US:

Summerfield Healthcare is a small 56 bed skilled nursing facility located in Santa Rosa, CA. We serve almost an equal mix of long term residents as well those needing just a short stay with Rehab in order to return to their prior level of function.

What we are doing to aide in the preventing the spread of COVID-19.

In an effort to practice the highest level of infection control and prevention we have changed the hiring and onboarding process of all new staff. Including, opting out of in person interviews and scheduling all interviews to be conducted via telephone. Prior to joining our Summerfield team, we will require a negative COVID-19 test before you may begin working. In an extra effort to protect, both our staff and patients we will also have all new hires orient in their own homes via a Zoom meeting in which you will go over all policies pertaining to the prevention of COVID 19 in our facility so you are prepared and ready on your first day of work.

In the facility you will receive enhanced infection control training from our Certified Infection Preventionist. All staff are screened upon starting their scheduled shift and after their designated meal period, including a COVID 19 questionnaire and temperature check. All staff are also provided new appropriate PPE daily. We offer daily in-services to all staff pertaining to COVID 19 updates within the community and facility, including updates and training on all infection prevention policies. We have enhanced our intake process of all new admissions and monitoring of current patient population. In an effort to support our staff and provide the best patient care during these difficult times we have increased staffing in all departments by way of Hospitality Aides. The staff at Summerfield have truly been Summerfield Healthcare Heroes in our eyes and we take pride in their hard work and dedication during the COVID-19 Pandemic. Qualifications:

*Must have current Phlebotomy Certification

*Must possess knowledge of medical terminology as it relates to laboratory purposes.

*Proficient in phlebotomy procedures, techniques, including venipuncture, tourniquet application/removal and decontamination of the puncture site.

*1 Year Experience as a Phlebotomist REQUIRED

SHIFT AVAILABLE -

Part Time

*Hours will vary based on facility needs.

Job Types: Part-time, PRN, Per diem

Pay: $25.00 - $33.00 per hour
