Join the exciting Joint Air Ground Operations (JAGO) and Virtual Warfare Center (VWC) Team! The JAGO Team has the need for a Lead Operations Analyst with current AFSIM and Operations Analysis experience, who is interested in working difficult problems at the front end of the business. This analyst will assist in the delivery of customer focused constructive analysis as well as modeling and simulation to address a variety of capability gaps by providing guidance derived from active duty operational experience. This position will be based out of St. Louis.
The VWC is responsible for producing Family of Systems constructive and virtual analysis for future vertical lift systems, unmanned systems, and weapons systems. Observations derived from the analysis will be used to inform Boeing Defense investments and drive Phantom Works capture strategy. External interface with government customers, as well as internal interface with Boeing Business Units, will be required to gather model inputs and share analysis results.

Primary Responsibilities:
Modeling and simulation and analysis related disciplines as well as techniques to conduct analyses and experimentation.
Lead Studies and conduct operations analysis around autonomous systems, rotorcraft and weapons systems
Lead a team of analysts
Deliver concise results from complex analyses
Delivery of customer focused analysis, to address a variety of capability gaps.
Interface with government customers as well as internal Boeing Business Units to gather model inputs and share analysis results
Evaluates customer/operational needs to define system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces.
Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify basic lifecycle balanced system of systems and system solutions.
Performs analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture.
Performs analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory, certification, product assurance and other specialties quality factors into a preferred configuration to ensure mission success.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):
Bachelor's, Master's or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry
3+ years experience using Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration & Modeling (AFSIM)
3+ years experience with Operations Analysis

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):
Experience using Advanced Framework for Simulation, Integration & Modeling (AFSIM), Brawler, or other simulation tools or computer programming
Experience conducting constructive analysis of military weapon systems to determine system effectiveness
Engineering experience with models, simulations
Knowledge of or experience with C, C+, C++, MATLAB, Python
Experience developing mathematical models representing physical systems
Excellent communications skills are highly desired because of the direct, constant interaction and interface with customers, senior management and teammates

Typical Education and Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 14 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+9 years' related work experience, Master+12 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Summary pay range: $119,850 – $162,150”
