Seeking an experienced Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the respected surgical team of an independent hospital in this charming coastal community in beautiful Down east Maine.

MSN or Masters, PA-C or certified Nurse Practitioner, Maine license or able to obtain and must have surgical first assist experience in general and/or orthopedics surgery.

Job Summary: You will be First Assist in the OR , primarily for Orthopedic Surgery, and other surgical specialties (General, OB/GYN, etc.) . You will practice alongside board certified surgeons, aided by an experienced OR team. Expect to spend mornings in the OR, and in the afternoons, see pre- and post-surgical patients primarily in the outpatient Orthopedics practice. Work at a 25-bed acute care hospital with state-of-the art technology that serves 30,000 residents.
