What You Do.

  • Responsible for achieving volume, net sales and profit targets along with other related financial performance objectives for assigned market and customers.
  • Responsible for achieving share growth goals for assigned markets and customers.
  • Makes appropriate headquarter calls to identify business opportunities and establish sound customer relationships to support achievement of corporate strategies and objectives.
  • Responsible for achieving customer penetration goals for assigned markets and customers.
  • Develops plans and supporting analysis necessary to achieve annual business objectives.
  • Supports corporate planning, analysis and budget process to achieve business objectives. Develops 1 – 3 year sales plan for markets and customers to support corporate planning and budgeting process.
  • Develops and implements merchandising plans and activities to support achievement of Sargento merchandising Standards of Excellence.
  • Develops and maintains effective internal and external cross-functional relationships necessary to achieve business objectives in a manner consistent with Sargento culture.
  • Plans and executes company trade strategies and initiatives within budget and company guidelines.
  • Continuously reviews market and customers to identify opportunities to help achieve corporate objectives. Provides analysis on market trends and opportunities so that appropriate company resources can be deployed to meet business needs or opportunities.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and be able to travel overnight 40% of the time.
  • Must have advanced skills with the following: Syndicated data analysis, terminology and reports, Account Review system


Your Education and Experience.

Bachelor’s degree required from an accredited college; five or more years related consumer product sales experience required; headquarter sales experience required; sales agency management experience preferred.
