MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELOR (MSW, LMSW, LCSW, LPC, LCPC, MFT, LMFT, QMHP)

We welcome mental health counselors and teletherapists to join our growing team throughout Idaho and Oregon. If you are looking for a flexible full time or even part time counseling at one of our three locations or in Glenns Ferry School this is the place for you!

The Mental Health Counselor position will provide emotional support and foster a safe and successful learning environment for children, youth, adults, couples, and families. The primary focus will be on assisting individuals emotional, mental, and social well-being that fosters personal success. The Mental Health Counselor will conduct therapy sessions, provide mental health assessments, service plans, and have the opportunity to conduct group therapy and/or school counseling via in-person or tele-therapy (as needed).

QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in counseling diverse populations preferred.

Strong facilitation, coaching, conflict resolution, and problem solving skills.

Experience in the use of technology and maintaining effective assessments, service plans, and notes.

Demonstrate skills in written and verbal communication.

Demonstrate understanding and appreciation of diversity.

Knowledge of and experience with mediation and conflict resolution.

Ability to follow HIPPA policies and agency policies.

A high level of organizational skills and initiative.

Strong communication skills. Ability to facilitate small groups and provide psychosocial education.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

This Mental Health position offers flexibility to choose the hours you want to work with along with the population (i.e. adults, children, families). It also offers opportunities to work with your preferred expertise (depression, trauma, behavioral, marriage counseling)

The Mental Health Counselor will conduct therapy sessions, provide mental health assessments, service plans, and have the opportunity to conduct group therapy and/or school counseling if they prefer.

Opportunities available to provide psychosocial education (prevention and awareness on topics such as parenting, anger management, healthy relations, crisis interventions)

Pay: $32.00 to $40.00 per hour dependent on Licensure level and experience.'

Pay: $57,000.00 - $67,000.00 per year
