Your role as a scribe in the Emergency Department will be to assist the physicians in the documentation process so they can dedicate more time to treating patients. This is an excellent position for individuals who have completed their coursework and have at least a year between graduation and medical school, nursing school, or physician assistant school!

JOB POSITION: Emergency Department Scribe

Description:

Gain valuable experience by assisting physicians and allied health professionals in the documentation process through transcribing the medical story provided by the patient and the exam provided by the physician.

Requirements:

* Typing speed greater than 50 wpm, (you can check your speed on typing-speed-test.aoeu.eu), include your typing speed on the attached resume/CV or you will not be considered for the position

* Must be 18 years of age or older

* Must be able to work nights, weekends, and weekdays

* Completion of at least one college-level biology course

Pay:$12/hour during training → $16/hour after completion of training

Shift/Week:3-(12 hour) shifts per week, primarily nights
