Vaporox, Inc., is a Denver-based medical device company. Our technology, Vaporous Hyperoxia Therapy (VHT™) represents a breakthrough in treating a massive problem: Diabetic Foot Ulcers (DFUs). DFUs diminish quality of life. Most DFUs do not heal and become chronic, leading to amputations and sometimes death. They result in billions of dollars of healthcare costs.

In multiple clinical studies, VHT has proven to heal over 82% of these chronic wounds.Vaporox’s “pay per use” sales model is proven and is an “easy sale” because the competition is standard wound care, not other advanced treatments. Because there is no risk to adoption for the provider and market leading healing results, demand is high for our second-generation “VHT-200” device, which we expect to be FDA-cleared in 2022.

The company raised a total of $10M including a $1M lead investment from Bioventus (NASDAQ: BVS) in our Series A round. The company has a strong patent portfolio which includes 14 patents (9 issued/5 pending).

Our executives have both medical and startup experience, and our advisors are deeply experienced in manufacturing and reimbursement. Our Medical Director is the former President of the Colorado Foot & Ankle Society and is on the Board of Directors of the American Board of Foot & Ankle Surgery.

Job Description:

The Sales Representative plays a critical role in helping to improve people’s lives every day, interacting directly with healthcare providers and their staff. They also educate clinics on the proper use of our products. The Sales Representative is fully responsible for managing their own territory – a role that’s perfectly suited to highly motivated self-starters with an entrepreneurial spirit!

Ideal candidates are autonomous, have strong interpersonal skills and determination to provide the best possible experience to our customers and coworkers. They strive for excellent performance, driven by the willingness to both teach and learn. They are good team players, dynamic, optimistic, accurate, well-organized, and ambitious about developing as a sales professional.

As a start-up, we believe working in the office is critical to the success of the company. While we offer flexible working schedules, and allow some working from home, we typically work in the office 4 days per week. Travel may be required depending on the project but primarily will reside in the Denver corporate office.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute territory business plan that results in achievement of assigned sales quota for assigned products
  • Develop and maintain product knowledge, business acumen, and proven sales processes for assigned products
  • Educate healthcare providers and staffs in clinic setting on the proper use of our technology
  • Embrace corporate values with regards to process and administrative responsibilities
  • Demonstrate high standards of ethics and compliance by adhering to compliance policies and procedures

Requirements and Preferences

  • 4-year college degree preferably in life science or a commercial discipline
  • 2+ years of proven B2B sales experience preferably in the biotech, life science, pharmaceutical, medical device or related industry
  • Preference will be given to candidates with a wound care B2B background
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong sales drive and an adaptable nature to succeed
  • Emotional intelligence and active listening skills are essential in this role
  • Proficient computer skills (HubSpot, Heymarket, Dialpad, Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint,)
  • Strong work ethic, self-starter, with a professional and friendly attitude

Pay: $125,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
