Webasto is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer for our brand-new facility in New Hudson, MI. The ideal candidate will have experience working with ME Processes in a fast-paced environment and display an aptitude for teamwork.

Job Responsibilities:

• Implementation and integration of relevant ME processes in series production in line with applicable standards
• Definition and updates to work instructions, routings and standard times and monitoring data accuracy
• Preparation and delivery of relevant training activities
• Preparation, analysis and review of process relevant KPIs and identification of improvement potentials
• Preparation and support of audits and release of new equipment Preparation of investment feasibility analysis reports

Education and Experience:

• The ideal candidate would have a bachelor’s degree in Engineering or another relevant field
• 3 or more years of experience working in a fast-paced, automotive lean manufacturing environment
• Basic knowledge of working with automotive ME processes and tools (e.g. MES, PFMEA, MTM, etc.)
• Technical understanding of machine parts and drawings
• Experience working with multi-functional manufacturing teams
• Experience with using SAP preferred
• Experience working with process optimization techniques
• Ability to apply problem solving tools
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, including PowerPoint, Word, Excel and Outlook

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
