Maintenance Technician

• Food Production Company
• Located near Swedesboro
• 1st Shift, 2nd Shift and 3rd Shift available
• $31.00-$34.00 p/h, plus shift differential
• Overtime available (Paid time and half)

You will be responsible for the Maintenance of Food Production Machinery which includes Mixers, Silo’s, Pneumatic Conveyors, Fermentation Machines, Sheet Rollers, Cookers, Guillotines, Cutters, Stampers, Proofers, Ovens, Fryers, Blast Freezers and Bulk Packaging Lines.

This includes electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical and network sub-systems. He will be responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance throughout the plant. Work by direction from the Maintenance Planner and/or Maintenance Supervisor, ensuring that the maintenance schedules are adhered to.

Duties and Responsibilities as a Maintenance Technician Include:

• Conduct Mechanical and Electrical Maintenance activities
• Planned and reactive maintenance (PPM’s)
• Service and repair production machinery
• Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Corrective actions and emergency maintenance
• Fault finding and diagnostics on machinery
• Work with Pneumatics, Hydraulics, PLC’s, Controls, Drives and Components
• Facilities and Building maintenance activities when required
• Reading engineering drawings and blueprints
• Maintaining Health and Safety Standards

Experienced Required:

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician/Mechanic (Minimum 3 Years)
• Machinery maintenance experience (Production Environments)
• Good problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Food/FMCG background or experience would be desirable
• Engineering or Maintenance qualification would be desirable

The factory is easily commutable from the following regions: Wilmington, Deptford, Voorhees Township, Pittsgrove, Salem, Woodstown, Alloway Township, Elmer
