Weed Man, the largest franchised lawn care company in North America and the #1 franchise in lawn care, is looking for a Lawn Care Specialist to join our growing team in Friendswood, Texas. As a lawn care professional, you will be responsible for servicing customers’ lawns, and providing accurate lawn analyses in your route, while offering amazing customer service at all times.

Responsibilities

• Applying fertilizer, treating weeds and performing other professional applications
• Interacting with customers and ensuring top-of-the-line service
• Accurately measuring lawns, providing lawn care quotes
• Completing lawn analyses and making service recommendations

Skills

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Good interpersonal skills
• Advanced problem-solving skills
• Proven time management

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license
• 23 or older (for insurance purposes)
• Willing to become certified to apply pesticides
• Ability to carry up to 50 pounds, 8-10 hours per day
• Able and willing to work in various weather conditions for long periods of time
• Professional appearance
• Ability to work in a results-oriented environment
• Previous sales or industry experience is an asset but is not required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 12 hour shift
• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

• Commission pay
