Qualifications for Accounting Specialist:

• High school degree or equivalent working experience and 2+ years of accounting experience
• Familiarity with processing payments, coding invoices, and onboarding and collection procedures
• Adept in Quickbooks, MS Office, Excel
• Outstanding communication and organizational skills
• Strong ability to follow procedures and read detailed instructions
• Problem solving skills to identify a discrepancy and resolve the error
• Excellent observation skills and keen attention to detail

Responsibilities for Accounting Specialist:

• Create new client accounts with accurate billing and payment information
• Ensure installation invoices and first invoices follow Post Installation Walkthrough instructions to minimize mistakes
• Make additions and changes to existing client accounts
• Fulfill compliance requirements for clients
• Maintain updated client account contact information
• Create and send monthly invoices to clients using preferred delivery methods
• Process payments received from clients via check, virtual ACH, or credit cards
• Deposit checks into designated bank account and send deposit report to management
• Process payments for clients with automatic payment authorization
• Process credit memos for clients as needed
• Manage Accounts Receivables and send reminders for unpaid invoices
• Perform collection procedures related to outstanding invoices, cancellations, and change of ownership
• Answer incoming calls and route to proper department
• Manage email communications efficiently

Compensation and Schedule for Accounting Specialist:

• Salary starting - $ 43,000K
• Monday-Friday from 8:30am - 5:00 p.m.
