In-Service Instructor - $7,500.00 Sign-On Bonus for Eligible Applicants*

Westmoreland Manor is seeking applicants for an In-Service Instructor! Job duties include: orientation and training of all new nursing employees, lead RN for assigned initiatives and program implementation, reviews, revises and ensures policies, and develops, presents, and schedules continuing education and provides re-education (knowledge deficit or disciplinary action) for licensed staff and CNAs. Administers, maintains and revises competencies as needed. Compliance with all Federal and State regulations is expected.

Requires ability to work flexible schedule as in-services are required for all shifts.

In addition, the In-Service Instructor may cross train in the RN supervisor position and may provide coverage as needed.

Excellent communication and computer skills required.

A sensitivity to and knowledge of a geriatric population is a must.

Applicants must have three (3) to five (5) years of progressive nursing experience in a long term care setting, and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent knowledge skills and abilities with valid Pennsylvania Registered Nurse License.

*Sign-On Bonus criteria includes, but is not limited to: Bonus program only offered for candidates applying for full-time and hired on or after September 1, 2022. Bonus to be disbursed in four payments over the course of a 1-year period (after 45 calendar days, 6 months, 9 months, and 1 year mark from first date of employment). Installment amounts detailed in guidelines. Employee’s continued eligibility dependent on attendance and punctuality, as defined in guidelines. Those offered a position within the last month prior to the launch of the sign-on bonus program are not eligible. Casual, temp, self-schedule, or part-time nurses or nurse aides are not eligible. Former employees only eligible if this is the second incidence of rehire and have not left in the three months prior to start of program. Vaccination Notice: Per CMS requirements, Westmoreland Manor requires all new hires and employees to submit proof of full vaccination with one of the four authorized COVID-19 vaccines; this vaccination is considered a condition of employment for all employees. Newly hired employees are required to be fully vaccinated or approved for a religious or medical accommodation by Westmoreland Manor prior to starting employment.
