Ascension Home Health Care of Lansing, MI, is looking to hire reliable hardworking individuals for home health aide positions in Lansing and the surrounding areas. The right individuals must have afternoon availability starting at 3pm. The aide will provide home help and community living supports to the client. Some holidays maybe required. The ideal candidate(s) must be prompt, have a positive attitude, great work ethic and be willing to meet the demands of clients who present physical challenges. Experience is helpful, but training will be provided. Responsibilities of a Home Health Aid include, but are not limited to:
- Meal preparation
- Assets of Daily Living (ADL’s)
- Feeding assistance
- Toileting
- Cathing
- Transferring
- Mobility
- Housekeeping
- Laundry
- Transporting to doctor's appointments, shopping for groceries and medication
- Respite care
- Goal-setting
Required Experience and Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- You must own or have access to reliable transportation to get to client's homes, as some work locations are not on the bus line.

Job Type: Part-time
Starting pay is $12.35-$15.35/hr. based on experience and certifications, which includes additional compensation of $2.35/hr. due to COVID-19.
