JOB TITLE Facility Manager

Reports to: General Manger

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Facilities Manager leads and coordinates by being hands on for all activities for facility maintenance. This includes machinery installation, performing preventative and predictive maintenance on the greenhouse, outdoor grow, grounds, machinery, and systems upkeep in addition to guiding engineering, new project build outs and construction activities. This role reports to the General Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure greenhouse remains operational and provides all upkeep, improvement, and repair plans

• Assume responsibility for all coordinating and conducting greenhouse maintenance, including budget and capital expenditure planning

• Maintain, trouble-shoot and service mechanical & industrial electrical equipment with plc and relay logic controllers

• Perform all aspects of general electrical installations including circuit boards, switch panels, wiring, lighting, and switches

• Prioritize, plan, schedule and perform daily repairs on equipment, systems, machinery, and vehicles

• Work with computer applications including word processing, excel spreadsheets, inventory control and reporting

• Knowledge of the methods, techniques, and safety measures in the use of fertilizers, and pesticides as necessary

• Schedule repairs with vendors as necessary

• Ensure company grounds and surrounding areas are maintained in accordance with company, security and environmental procedures and regulations

• Oversee that maintenance and cleaning schedules of all company facilities are carried out in a manner that supports the company’s quality assurance standards

• Develop a team of motivated, productive, and positive employees. Function as “team leader” across all functions at the assigned site(s)

• Ensure the accuracy of required tracking and control reports

• Ensure continuity and maximize productivity and quality within the company guidelines

• Insure accurate documentation of production, quality control and inventory data and records

• Direct and oversee site production activities and personnel

• Ensure client and vendor file integrity (documents, analytical information where required, communication notations, etc.)

• Other duties as assigned that may or may not be commensurate with the level of responsibility of this job description

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience in Cannabis Greenhouse or other commercial greenhouse

• Associate degree (or equivalent) in Business, Engineering, or equivalent job experience, Bachelor’s degree preferred a Plus

• 5 years’ experience as a Facilities or Maintenance Personage of manufacturing or agriculture facility

• Strong interpersonal and analytical skills. A solutions provider

• Capable of Lifting up to 70 lbs. frequently

• Available to participate in a rotating duty schedule and available to work Holidays and Weekends as necessary

• Capable of working at heights of 30 feet.

• Due to nature of the position, ability to walk, stand, lift, and climb 75% or more of the time

• Have a valid California Driver's License (in good standing)

• Ability to pass a background check to secure a Dispensary Agent Card through the AZDHS (Must be 21 years of age or older)

Ideally, you also have (optional)

• Desired but not required: Experience with HVAC systems and generators a plus

• Dutch Greenhouse Expert

• Bilingual (English & Spanish)

Experience:

• Manufacturing: 5 years (Preferred)

• Commercial Cannabis: 3 years (Preferred)

• Greenhouse: 5 years (Preferred)
